Speaking of the CCA, we did have a HUGE party last weekend, commemorating I think the 35th birthday of SOMEONE important, very high up in the organization. I dont remember who off the top of my head (we partied hard). There were cats of all stripes, tiger to tabby, passed out all over the front lawn. We'll have to change venue next year, and I think, town as well.

Well, there is the body and the mind ... the body is already on its way (I don't bounce back like I did in my 20's or even 30's) ... but there are plenty of people my age who are much 'older' - not for me, not quite yet anyway!

Yeah, 40 can be very old on some people. And seventy can be surprisingly young. I once worked for a guy who was mayor of the town, worked in his own business and did cross-country motorcycle trips at 72. (With the helmet on, you couldn't tell. :) )

This is weird.

I was watching a TV show last night that was discussing the chances of Earth being struck by a meteor. They identified one in particular that scientists know will come close, one that would definitely cause a catastrophe if it struck. It will happen on my birthday (April 13) about 25 years from now.

Weirder still, it's going to swing back around again exactly ten years after that -- also on my birthday.

First of all thanks for all the birthday wishes (hope they aren't corrupted;)). It seems that 4 out of 7 are from women, so that gives me some hope for the future :biggrin:

Although there weren't so many people around on my birthday (9), it was pretty good. When there aren't so many people, it is less likely that you can talk to everyone then when there is like 40 people in your home. I still celebrate my birthday with my family and not with my friends. I just feel more confortable keeping them seperate, cause otherwise I would neglect one of them.

Oh yeah, some of you know my dislike of most alcoholic drinks, well, I've tasted wine, Bacardi cola and Bloody Mary(Wodka with tomato juice and a bit of herbs). Can't say that I'm really fond of all those drinks, but I finally feel that I can order something else then another lemonade.
