Strange mushrooms

I have over 50 strange mushrooms in my inventory and I still can't find what they are good for. I don't see anything happen if I eat one...

Do you know what these are good for?

i believe they're used in creating transformation potions

Indeed, they are the basic ingredient for transformation potions (like Kings Sorrel for Permanent potions)

Shame on me. I was never interested in transformation potions, so I've never checked transformation recepies.

Anyway, thanks for info. I was expecting something strange for strange mushrooms, something like potion with random result or something like that.
