Howdy all, new to the site, poked around a bit, like what I see.
Found all kinds of stuff that I will be delving into in depth as time goes by, but a search of the forums finds no mention of one game series I was hoping to find info on. Does anyone remember the Yendorian tailes trilogy from about 15 years ago? A semi-homebrew series of games marketed by a now-defunct company called SW games. Titles were Book of Yendor, Book of Yendor II, and Tyrants of Thaine. I found these games simple, but very playable, but they did not transition well from PC to PC over the years.
Oh well, back to my all-dragon run on M&M 8. Later.

I've played and own all 3 games, mndrew. They're great fun and are very similar to the earlier Might and Magics. It's been a few years since I've played them though, but I'm sure I've got them on Dosbox/D-fend somewhere. I actually can't get Book I to run on Windows XP or 7, but Books II and III are fine.

Oh, I don't have a problem running them, DOSBOX is a worderful tool for such things. My problem is that I didn't save the registration files/codes (depending on the game), they got lost between hardware upgrades, so now I can only play the demo versions as SW games has gone the way of the dodo, but not long ago enough for these titles to be considered abandonware.
But I have the patience of the long-lived, and will play other games whilest I wait.
