No, for either breaking our rules, or for having sig links which resemble those of spambots. We do not permit offensive sigs, so save them for the Codex.

He doesn't seem to know why he was banned or at least doesn't seem to fully understand why.

* So it's was the signature? That seems a bit extreme.

A few of them talked on the Codex about swinging by the Watch and causing trouble. I guess some of them actually felt the need to do it. *yawn*

Not causing trouble, just seemed strange to ban someone before even making their first post.

It is all about making a good first impression..... after that things become a bit more flexible in my humble experience.....

We're banning anybody that resembles a spambot. I noticed you have a place for crying about stuff like that on the codex. Amazing...

I've been blocking spammrs for a few years now.

Some look like spmmers, others completely not.

I don't like spammers who look like completely normal persons. And yes, I have actually witnessed some of them.
And I predict bots tht act like completely normal humans … Like ELIZA, for example.
Perhaps spamming ( I mean, the development of spam-bots) will force the development of social interaction AI in robotics ?

Some of what I've learned can be found here : http://www.rpgwatch.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5806

A conspiracy theorist, by the way, could think of provocation - provoking a banning to have a reason to rant about it afterwards.

I guess the most ironic thing here is that poor Reject was banned for having a signature that is a sarcastic jab at the RPGCodex.

So, guys, is this the forum where nazi moderation kills puppies and bans BLOBERT's words of wisdom and redemption?

Bah! I just noticed they also spell 'traveller' with but one 'L'. What a bunch of filthy simpletons http://www.rpgcodex.net/phpBB/images/smiles/haughty.png

And why is that ironic exactly? I for one couldn't care less if he was from RPGCodex or not.

Blame it on the Americans, they started with it. But look at it from the bright side, it makes you fit right in.

We thank you, reject. Not posting is the greatest gift codexers can give to those of us who like to Watch :)

Then we have a problem with different forum cultures here.

It is quite naive in my opinion to think that one can easily transport a certain forum's culture into nother one.

It would be like … Chinese and Inuit and Americans eating together the same meal.

You just can't go into another forum with a different forum culture and expect to be understood from time zero on.

Ever pulled a nosehair out and it made your eyes water? Wow.

Nope. But sometimes when I pull out those hardened boogers. The one that are kinda crispy you know?

Also i have noticed i have a lack of nose hair. i think it is because i always pick my boogers morning and night. took a while to get over the need to chew on them before spitting them out. But I think i am doing better and just flick them to that "special" corner of my room, ya know?

Don't take my word for it on the nose hair thing though. it is a nasty habit, but who cares if know one is looking?
