This week's update at The Witcher site is a decidedly adult wireframe and render of a Bruxa (http://www.thewitcher.com/gallery_work.asp):
This week’s update brings a wireframe and low poly model of Bruxa – a vampire monster appearing in The Witcher game. Bruxa is a greater vampire and one of the most dangerous characters you will have a chance to fight with, during your adventures. That’s because of her superhuman speed and agility and very good attack skills. When planning a hunting for Bruxa , you can gain an advantage by preparing well combined mixtures, especially the ones protecting from her special feats.
More information. (http://www.rpgwatch.com/show/newsbit?newsbit=3731)

That's a LOW poly model!?

Dear God, I want this game right now...

Yes, it looks and sounds as if the gameplay design will be fanstatic but I will even settle for mediocore at this point as long as it's mostly bug free.
If this game can achive most of what it is trying to accoplish and is mostly bug free I will personally rate it higher than G3, NWN2 and oblivion, just to be rebelious, make a point and support bug free games. :p

'Bruxa' means 'witch' in Portuguese... Was this where they got the name from?

Well, the game is based very heavily on a Polish novel. Maybe the author borrowed the Portugese word.

I do not know if this word was borrowed from Portugees, but Bruxa in the Sapkowski world is a type of a vampire. If I recall correctly you could read a story about one in "Grain of Truth".

Looks good.
Will The Witcher become the best RPG of 2007?
As far as I remember it's going to be released this spring, i can't wait.

And BTW
Hello i'm new here ;)

Yes welcome to the board, Dagon. :)

I hope so or at least some form of RPG instead of having gamesites nominating frigging MMOG as RPG contenders, even worst them actually winning, sigh. :(

That's a very impressive render. Nudity isn't always erotic. Downright creepy in this case.

You would think a greater vampire would have clothes and look a little more stylish she looks like a prostitute.

A dead prostitute. Actually, I think it's far scarier and more threatening, not to mention more realistic, for a dead creature to be naked--after all, where can she shop?

Whoa Kristina is hot. Boobies are always a welcome addition to a game. Hope they don't censor it for the NA release.

With my luck, this game won't be available down here either. EB tells me that games from small devs just aren't worth importing!! :(

Wow, thanks for those links, Wulf. :)

Not only have these guys at CD Projekt been able to work seeming mircles with the engine but also with astetic atmosphere, action, story and modeling.

Damn this makes me believe m$ can't kill the PC and that some great devs still exist in the PC sector!

Corwin, can't you tell them you want to do a review and they may send you a copy. ;)

looks good. She's more of a horrifying and animalistic vampire, which is more along the lines of what they originally were in myth. They werent always cool & seductive, sauntering around in lace and frills and pondering the woefulness of their existence.

Hopefully, they will send the Watch a review copy, but then the real fight begins over who gets to play it and write the review!! :) Dhruin has seniority!! I have the time!!

If these screenshots make it to the game then I suggest to sell imports here in the land of the once were free. One of our presidential candidates has a record of favoring video game censorship as a smoke shield for real issues. This game will get attacked. Vista probably won't run it anyway.

Yeap, but Bruxa is not a greater vampire. She is only one of the types of lesser vampires in Sapkowskis books. There were only one greater vampire introduced in saga of The Witcher and he Was very eloquent, elegant and powerfull.

Not for long, he will pay for his treacherous elegance! ;)

Acleacius:

Not excatly :). But i dont want to spoiler about the books. Afterall they should be translated and published in English in a short while. When I first read them, they were very refreshing for a Tolkiens fan (which i still am).
