How to link a site to a message?

I have a technical question :

How do you link a site to a message?

I mean how can you make a link to a word in your message?

I often see links that go like this : click here (the here is in blue) and it brings you to the site.

I don't know much about computers.
This is something I'd like to know.
I hope it's not to difficult to understand.

Here is a list (http://www.rpgwatch.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode) of the tags you can use; if you wanted to link to RPGWatch, you could either do it this way:
[ url ]http://www.rpgwatch.com[ /url ]
for this result: http://www.rpgwatch.com
or, if you wanted to name the link other than the site's url,
[ url=http://www.rpgwatch.com ]Click this link[ /url ] for this result:
Click this link (http://www.rpgwatch.com) .

You need to get rid of the spaces in the brackets, though; I just added them so they wouldn't work.

An easy way is to type out your message the way you want it to read, then highlight the word where you want people to click, and click on the little Insert Link button(the globe with some little thingies under it). When the box pops up, paste or type in your url--backspace over the http part if you're pasting. Voila!!(it took me months to figure this out!!)

It´s easier if you just click on the globe. Then paste the link into the pop-up and click okay. The suggested name for the link is already marked, so you can just overwrite it if you prefer something else.
