gothic 2 spacer

hey everyone,
I want to fiddle with gothic 2 spacer, problem is everytime I try to run it , it asks for the original gothic 2 night of the raven cd(in german) now I own gothic 2 gold, so I put in the addon disk and it won't work:(
any idea why that could happen?

Probably due to incompatible version numbers.

Not fun to hear, but a re-install usually does the trick. Sometimes you can also try with getting the Gothic.exe file from the CD and put it in your gothic directory. A lot less work then the previous option, but it doesn't work all the time

What are you refering to when you say "spacer"?

spacer2 , the thing in the system folder that supposedly you can make mods with
