Gothic 2 camera movement

I'm installing Gothic 1 & 2 on my netbook, and there's something about the camera in G2 that really annoys me. It sort of oozes in and out with the character's breathing, and it makes me feel nauseous. I've never even made it out of the tower.

Is there some way of disabling the camera movement so that it's steady like in G1?

Weird, I don't recall ever experiencing the effect you describe. What do you mean by his "breathing"? Also, what kind of video card do you have in that netbook?

Any netbook would have an integrated card, generally GMA 945. I've got Gothic 1 from GoG on mine and haven't seen a single problem like that.
