Those look great - I'm still disappointed I didn't get in on the Mac beta ...

Indeed ... Did I mention already I really want to get my hands on this one? :)

A Mac version is no good for me, and the PC release would come out January at the earliest.

This is one of those rare 'Mac gets it first' games ... I'll be dual booting more often then usual for a few months ... ;)

Geneforge - one of the best current crpg-series:
super original story
top character building system
living world
a lot choices and consequences
turn based combat
great world interaction
tons of quests
difficult quests
many dialoges
...
even better than Avernum=Exile or Nethergate

I agree, HiddenX. I enjoyed Geneforge 3 immensely. I especially enjoy that conversational skills can sometimes replace the need for combat. Reminds me a bit of Planescape...

I have the Geneforge 3 demo sitting on my laptop. I only played it for a few seconds (testing to see if it worked really). I was shocked at how much better it looks in person compared to screenshots.

The new one looks even better in real life ;)
