What's with Bioware giving all of these print mags the previews for Dragon Age?

I think that at this point in development they can control things much better that way and get some really nice exposure ... when it gets closer then online hands-on stuff makes more sense.

I've gotten the impression from what the devs say on the official site that they're holding off on excessive details right up until release. It would save them a lot of hassle and answering questions, and perhaps not totally saturating the internet with pre-release content will actually help sales. It would be nice if there were a few surprises when it's finally released.
