Heroes

My son just downloaded a new TV series we don't yet get here called Heroes and I've watched the first 5 episodes!! Is this one weird/creepy series or what!! Has anyone else been following it? What are the general thoughts about it in places where it is actually being shown on TV?

Well, I know a few people who really like it. Personally, I couldn't stand it. But, the cheerleader is kinda hot. :p

The only shows I watch are: Battlestar Galactica, to satisfy my nerdulitis, and The Daily Show/ Colbert Report.

Hayden Panettiere is a cute kid ... but hearing you call a 17 year old 'hot' makes me feel old ...

We watched the first couple and were pretty bored by the deliberate pacing, but then after missing a couple got pulled back in, and it is quite decent. Always high production values, and a good job overall.

Been wathcing every episode released and I like it.

I've been watching every episode as well... I missed one episode though... but the series is really good. It takes a somewhat common idea and gives it a very unique and imaginative storyline.

Part of me thinks it's a waste of my time and the other part just wants to find out what the heck the bottom line is in this show. Why or how can a cheerleader 'save the world'?
