My graphics card and BGII

Generally it works ok, but I get lots of black area up on the area map that I uncover, and the lag from some of the area affect spells like entangle are terrible. Was fighting Mulahey (BGI with TuTu mod) and what should have been a 3 minute battle took 10 minutes

I'm using Nvidia 8800GTS.

Do you have the 3d options enabled in BGConfig? Everything should be ticked except disable vertex padding.

Perhaps trying to play the game in software mode ? I mean - concering Directxdraw etc. .

It works.

Incidentally I also found a much better resolution. no more of that irritating shifting the camera around in large battles for me.
