Help !!!

hello everybody...i\m having some trouble in a quest...i joined the monestary and i was searching around and came by a book ''Wisdom in combat'' that i didn't know i would need it and gave it to the Rufus .. a recruit at the monestary . and later i found out that Master Vittus is giving me the quest to find the book . How do I do that now ???

How did you even get to Rufus without first doing the quest for Master Vitus? He's the one that grants you access to the upper part of the Monastery where Rufus is.. ? It should be impossible to get into the upper part without first giving Wisdom in Combat to Master Vitus (well, you don't actually give it to him, you simply tell him that you found it).

hi folks, i did manage to get into cemetery bribing Yoki and I've found the book, I've read it (at least i think I did it...) but Master Vitus says, understanding the words is the first part of his trial. I did earn the trust from Dalmar (or what's the name of the one with the pigs) I did obtain the book but I cannot proceed any further and it pisses me off, cause last save is like 3 hours of gameplay before I guess... The only quest that keeps me from become a mage is the one from Master Vitus, and I've tried everything, he and Pallas won't speak with me, none of the novices can help me atm, so it's really frustrating :S Did I miss something or I just forgot to read the book? (I doubt, I read every book I find....)

I finished my basic training witout a problem and then i was granted me acces to the upper part . i finished all the other master's quests including and now the only one left is Vitus . So...I gave the book to rufus after i bribed Yoki and taken everything from the cript . Soo...still..Help ? :S

Hope this helps... ****SPOILERS*****

In order to complete that you need to talk big guy Dalman (shovelling dirt in monastery where the bigs are) and get someone (Taylor) to replase him. After you have done that succesfully you recieve information that wisdom in combat is book. That can be found in cemetary (in the chest, 1 skeleton corpse hast the key). After you got the book talk to Vitus and then take the book to Rufus.

Not at all - once you complete combat training you get access to the upper section, and then can immediately find Rufus and get the quest.

Yes, I realized that - only the staff fighting is part of the "basic training". The book is part of his master quest, and you can do all the master quests at the same time. I guess it's possible to simply knock Rufus down and grab the book - then cast a Jest spell on him when he gets back up to make him friendly again.
