I have 186 Str and I cast the scroll of Beserkingbut it still says 186 str in character sheet. Should it go up there by 50 or it does not work if u have more than 100 str?

I just checked, no it doesn't reflect the change on the stat screen. You're still getting the damage bonus though.

Yes, the maximum damage in the game is achieved by getting 200 strength (that is highest you'll ever see in the character screen), and then using Berserk to add another 50. Like JDR said - it doesn't show in the character screen, but it's definetly there (I've checked the damage output with/without the spell).

I was able to one shot a black wolve once with that buff but it took 2 hits without it :)
