S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat Review @ Gbase.ch

Swiss site Gbase.ch dropped us a line to point out their German review of Call of Pripyat (http://www.gbase.ch/PC/reviews/STALKER+-+Call+of+Pripyat%3a+Review/8785/3712.html). They say it is the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game in general so far but after 15 hours of relatively bugfree play, hit a showstopper. Final score 7.5/10. Hopefully these things will be ironed out by the time we see an English release.

No surpise here, I automatically assume any title by GSC Game World is going to have at least a few major bugs at release. Still, I'm looking forward to playing CoP.

I was never able to finish Clear Sky. A different game stopping mission bug each time I tried to play it (with 4 different patch versions). Finally just gave up and never even got to see any new areas (except the starting swamp obviously).

And yet I'm also still looking forward to this game...good lord I'm an idiot.

Yup, they care more about graphic whores than solid game play, working quests and stablity. Too bad really, they clearly have talent.
