Hisvin writes of updates to the Inquisitor (http://www.inquisitor.cz/?page=news) page, including a score of 80% (with some sort of Baldur's Gate comparison) that would seem to indicate the game has been released somewhere. The Czech is otherwise impenetrable to me, so if any readers want to help out, drop by the comments.
More information. (http://www.rpgwatch.com/show/newsbit?newsbit=13784)

Apparently, the game has been released in Czech Republic, you can find it online here: http://www.jrc.cz/index.php?a=2&id=26266 (at 666 kč - about 25 euro, it's a fairly low budget release).
The blurb about the game there can be plugged into Google Translate, but it's so typical marketing speech it's hardly worthwhile. In any case, the game does seem to be epic in scope, with a number of 100 hours of gameplay for an "expert" player (or up to 200 if you're not hardcore enough). I'm almost getting a sort of Legacy of the Crusader vibe, based on the medieval setting and the mentions of the inquisition, though my Czech isn't really good enough to understand it all perfectly.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any mention of an english version being planned.
EDIT: The page on Facebook has an english description of the game:
The Inquisitor is a dark role-playing game of the highest quality. Prepare for a medieval drama with maximum style and great emphasis on details.
It brings you, a medieval inquisitor, to a gloomy world full of heresy, betrayal and devilish plots. You will hunt after perpetrators of the most atrocious crimes and you will meet a lot of cunning enemies. You will find yourself in the midst of a powerful conspiracy striving to destroy even the foundations of the thousand-year old Empire. As one of the three main characters you will explore all the mysteries of this depressing world and gain reputation of a fearless inquisitor and a witch hunter. Carry out dozens of secondary quests and develop your potential in order to face the more powerful and dangerous enemies and challenges. And remember all you do depend just on your own choice!
The main pillars of the Inquisitor game are primarily its fast action and a catching storyline supplemented by an original game system and unique skills and abilities of the main heroes. The authors have inspired themselves with the high standards of the RPG genre and added inexhaustible amount of their own ideas and inventions. The result is an attractive and easy to control game with an intriguing potential. And its only up to the player which of these possibilities he will discover and utilize.
The storyline is based mainly on the investigation of various crimes, so the core components of the game are to expose malefactors, gain evidence against them and to prove them guilty in court, using both the canon law and the secular law of the Empire. One of the most important laws is the Inquisitional codex which lays down the rules and principles of the inquisitional process. And its the codex that governs your methods and action while hunting for heretics and witches who threaten the whole Empire with their obscure plots.
A very important part of the inquisitional process is torture. It allows you to use up to four torture instruments when interrogating the worst criminals (a rack, a strappado, a whipping post and an iron maiden).

Eh…? I'm not trying to bash on it (it actually looks quite promising), but who are they trying to kid here? Those graphics would have indeed been "state-of-the-art" ……in 1999.

JDR13, to me it's state of the art. Just like Mona Lisa, for which I believe you think is just another piece of junk because it wasn't made to be used exclusively with DX11.
Just don't tell me that your RL job is an art critic in a local museum and you're worldwide known for your work.

State of the art compared to what? Sure, it looks nowhere near as good as recent AAA titles, but compared to most of the indies it does indeed look quite stellar. Speaking of which, care to name a big publisher behind the game?

You seem to be confusing graphics with artistic style. I never said it didn't look good.
