Wanted for murder in Faring and I don't know why

Normally, I would not even think of posting a question like this, but since my last question got answered so quickly....

After doing all of the side quests in Myrtana except for those involving killing rebel or orc leaders or cleaning out a town and except for those in Faring, I showed up in Faring, spoke with the first Orc and claimed I was wanted for murder in town. I had never been to Faring before then.

Does anyone know why this could have happened?

Am I screwed?

I am more than willing to kill everyone in town just so they leave me alone, but I do not want to miss out the experience points.

Any suggestions?

If you haven't murdered anyone (or if you murdered anyone - doesn't really matter) and you are wanted for murder just answer "bite me" and knock him down - not kill him...he regrets that he said this to you and the guards will leave you alone from now on :)
Just be sure, that no other guards are near while you are fighting with him.
Same for thieving.

roqua's problem is that he said 'bite me' to someone, and they did!! :) Unfortunately, they then died which set everyone against him and thus we have our current roqua!! :biggrin:

But if your Bribe fails, the problem is that the complete town hates you from now on - its risky :(
