Wow, the stamina of this guy. Wesp has a new v6.5 Unofficial Patch / mod for Vampire: Bloodlines. From The Patches Scrolls:
Plus Edition changes:
+Added mugger to Chinatown and pinball player sequence to Last Round.
+Granted humanity when comforting Copper and removed loss for Nines.
+Lessened Dragon's Breath damage and made bolts buyable a bit sooner.
+Added SM haven key and missing particle effects for a lot of claws.

Restored content:
Restored unused shovelhead to Hallowbrook and alternate Tong model.
Restored newspapers to Skyeline and junkyard and added one downtown.
Restored Protean warform hopping and basic stats, but lost the info.

Fixes:
Made the bad luck talisman not sellable and corrected Knox's secret.
Fixed log bugs for Haxxor, Gargoyle, Pisha, Lily and pimpin quests.
Improved netcafe and pawnshop trigger issues and some text details.
Stopped one-shot-killing Larry and Copper been gone for transfusion.
Increased claws range and lowered Desert Eagle accuracy on running.
More information.

Far above average. Wesp appears to be a VtM:B loving machine. And I love him for it. :)

It's a fantastic game, probably in my top ten crpgs, made even better by Wesp's efforts.

Top five for me - and i absolutely agree with you, Wesp rocks.
It saddens me that we won't be seeing a VtM game anytime soon :(

CCP has done something unique with EVE Online, so if much of the team from that is involved in developing WoD Online we might actually get an MMO in which it matters what the players do, that's not set in cold empty space.

It will probably bear little to none resemblance to VtM: Bloodlines though.

On the one hand, World of Darkness seems ideal for an MMO, what with the vampire clans, Garou tribes, and the vampire/Garou battles (there may be more to WoD but my knowledge is limited to vamps and Garou). Unfortunately, the things that make WoD so intriguing to me seem like they'd be lost. WoD is first and foremost a storytelling P&P RPG. And it seems like the complexities of important elements like the Masquerade would be difficult to properly represent in a MMO.

part of what makes WOD fun as a gaming system is the fact that theyre sorta hidden from society and the "normal" world at large, at least that's what it was like when I played. Everythings occult, covert, yet ironically right out in the open at the same time. "The masquerade", all that….

Open warfare MMO style would just be like any other game, a bunch of monsters fighting a bunch of other monsters. I can hear it already, "ive still gotta grind 186 more Sabbat Regents before i get my mount…"
