according to this http://www.gamebanshee.com/news/1036…es-vi-qaa.html it won't be an 'always online' DRM. You'll probably have to be online to install it, but after that you can play it offline, but while online you have access to achievements and what not.

Then you should be ok. I'm not sure how the unlocking will work though. Say you unlock the 'Staff of Staffness', and you have it in your game. So you go into your 6 hour flight to Spain, start up your game in your laptop and… will the staff still be there or will it disappear? I'm hoping that when you unlock something it's unlocked offline too.
