Hullo, Steven Page and the rest of the Euphonic Development team.

What kind of games serve as your inspiration for this project? What elements are you trying to imitate or create from scratch?

Based on his Youtube history, it looks like his inspiration is stealing passwords to things and e-mailing them to himself. That last video is a tutorial on how to steal peoples youtube accounts. http://imgur.com/jMFup (pasted as image in case he edits his youtube history.)

if you read that a bit closer, all i did was subscribe to my friends channel.

just because is shows that i subscribed to a channel with a youtube password stealer doesnt mean that has anything to do with me.

check out any videos i have posted, and you will see, i have no interest in that at all

So far the idea is to get a basic multiple user server running and a world where users can logon and play;

the latest version includes this! we are progressing nicley, and if you want to check out my thread the THE OFFICIAL UNITY FORUMS you will see people are following this and it is currently ready for beta testing the networking engine.
