Good read, even for someone who doesn't play MMOs. I thought the Fansy the Famous incident sounded pretty damn funny.

I'm surprised there was no mention of the Lord British assassination.

I never playe MMOS but this was a fun read!

hehe I remember hearing about the WoW one as I was playing at the time and also had a rogue (same as the guy killing all the low levels) as my main.

PvP servers are great fun! We had a horde troll hunter that was a notorious low-lever alliance ganker, spending his entire time hunting the innocent. Once when we were raiding Zul Gurub. We'd been wiping on ends so our tank, who was also our raid leader, had to exit the dungeon to do some repairs. So we waited, and waited. Then we started to hear some angry mumbling on ventrilo. People started to ask why he was taking so long. He replied angrily that he was getting ganked, so our entire raid sprang into action to rescue our leader. Outside an army of heavily 20 armed men and women ascended upon a horde troll hunter. The hunter had become the hunted! So the tales from the realm forums say.

I can't believe that guy in EVE actually got away with it! You'd think someone would post a bounty that would get those assassin fellows to kill him and take the ridiculous amount of stuff he had.

I had read about Fansy The Famous only a few days ago via the DDO forums.
