Question fighting beasts…

Is there a way to seperate and only pull one mob at a time?
Every time I think Ive pulled one, all heck breaks loose and the
every one attacts …Is there a way to just pull one at a time?
Thanks

Did you try a ranged weapon or a ranged spell? It should be possible to pull just a few creatures.

Nope, ranged weapon or spell is the last thing you want to do. It will immediately alert the whole pack (sometimes the AI may glitch though if you do it from very far away iirc and it might work?).

The way to do this (and they made it tougher in Risen than in earlier titles) is very patiently wait for the creatures to put some distance between them (they may do it as they move around) and creep very slowly towards them until only (the closest to you obviously) one is activated (starts its warning sounds/animation). Note it may not be possible at 100% of cases (or worth your time and patience), and you may have to start inching back and forth a bit to avoid activating the rest, but at least that is how I do it…

Also important: If you manage to lure one away, make sure you keep backing away until you are well away from the rest before hitting it at all. Any damage you do within range of the rest of the pack will activate all of them…
