Risen 2 - Hope Emerges Trailer

A new trailer for Risen 2 has been released, titled Hope Emerges. Catch it via the link and here's the accompanying press release:

A world in chaos and a war that seems to be almost lost.

But there is still hope: one man, a nameless hero, takes it upon himself to save the world.

The trailer's editing/sound/writing are all on par with the big boys, even the game's environments look great, the character models and animations look outdated by contrast.

Wow!!!! Killer trailer! Love the last 20 or so seconds where the different enemies and action sequences flash by. Looks like they are some really cool looking monsters in the game. Gah, why does this game have to come out so close to Dragon's Dogma…

Hmm the graphics in that video looked somewhat clumsy compared to Risen 1. Hopefully, it's just PB being excellent at making games, but poor at marketing. Again.

It seems that there will be no hard copy for PC :-( … only steam.

Well I'm used to since most European rpg's releases have been digital only first. If your lucky you can import a collectors addition. Seems a bit flawed really, I guess no one in the US like boxes anymore.
