RPGWatch Forums - Mass Effect 3 Connection Issues

Seems some players on BioWare Social Network have complaints from players with errors when attempting to play Mass Effect 3. Origin seems to tell players they require an online pass which does not exist for the PC version of the game. There are also some players who own From Ashes DLC and are not even able to play the game in singleplayer mode.

The message is of course incorrect and could be saying "I like turtles." for all that it means. It is choking on some server messaging and this has nothing to do with DRM or the like. Once we wrangle the errant server under control those affected will be able to play again. Thankfully it isn't affecting many customers, but we almost have it all resolved at this time.

See this is one thing about online drm that require servers or online checks that I despise. Take what you will from this.:rolleyes:
