Legend of Grimrock - Making the Intro Sequence
 

The Grimrock blog has a rather cool article (at least, for a non-artist like me) on the creation of the intro sequence.

I was wondering if this game actually has a campaign/story to play through? Or is it just rogue-style non-random dungeon crawling? I can't do without some sort of story motivation anymore these days…

There is some small story/mystery of why the dungeon was created, some guy who went there before you, etc., pretty much as in Eye of the Beholder. Not story driven for sure, but excellent ambiance nevertheless, and a pretty good game.

Edit : by the way, for 5.60€, it's a must have for everyone even remotely interested in RPGs, as a showcase of what can be done with today's techonolgy and 20 year old gameplay, if nothing else.
