Indeed. It would take a crazy amount of effort to actually re-make all of BG2. Nice scene tho.

My guess would be that by the time they actually finished this dragon age's grafix and engine would be as dated as baldurs gate 2 was when they started.
Especially if they maintained the impressive level of quality shown in that video. Would still love to see it done ofc.

LOL translating BG2 onto a newer engine (including Skyrim engine) has been attempted many times before. But, as it was stated before, amount of effort required is just too great.

i had a nerd-gasm just thinking about BG in the DA engine. Please, make it so…

Edit: Ooops, that was before I actually looked at the article and saw it was BG2. Dont get me wrong, it still gives me a hard-0n, but not as strong as BG1.
