Larian Studios - Deadlines with Dragon Commander and Original Sin

Swen Vincke has made a posting on how things went with the hand-on sessions of Dragon Commander and Original Sin that are taking place these days.

It was.
But not without a lot of pointed and detailed criticism.

Sounds like a damn stressful job…

Dragon commander is not really my kind of game but I will buy it to support Larian. Very glad they are getting positive feedback.

I don't want to encourage Dragon Commander 2, so I'll just buy 2 copies of Original Sin; if the multiplayer hasn't ruined the series.

Heretic.:p I for one will instead buy both since both look good to me. There are more games than just rpg's.

You could start with buying Dragon Commander 1.

I think Dragon Commander could be good. At the very least it's fresh and has a kind of oldschool creativity that most modern day publishers wouldn't allow because pages of market research statistics say its probably not going to make much money. It's got great production values and its not a Call of Duty or World of Warcraft clone in any respect!

Original Sin I'm very interested in too. I want to see the catastrophic failure video! Does it exist?

Not really interested in Dragon Commander but looking forward to the Divinity game, I sure hope it turns out well and feels more like DD1. If not anything else, it will be worth a purchase for the Pokrovksy music alone.
