Any recommendations anyone?

Grotesque Tactics is mildy amusing. It is turn-based tactical combat once your party gets decent sized. Not heavy enough to feel like an rpg but rpg-lite is an acceptable term, imnsho. You basically run around with this guy who is like a superstar hero. He actually has you make all decisions and everything. His status allows you to be followed around by his groupies and they help in combat.

Battlepaths is a lot of fun, and for less than a dollar you can't go wrong!

Doom & Destiny is also supposed to be really good. I haven't gotten around to that one yet, though.

Thanks both! For the price, I'll take a chance on all three. They sound like they could be fun.

Just to let you know (just in case you don't) Holy Avatar vs Maidens of the Dead is the third game in the Grotesque Tactics series.

Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is worth playing if you like turn-based squad combat.
