Calling all NFG members

Ok it seems the NFG has been turned into a forum and they would have to have a list of all who should have access to it.
I for one would vote to simply close it with dignity. But I won't make the decision alone. Email me, pm me, post here, whatever works. Majority rules.

Corwin November 14th, 2006 01:32

Well, I think we should close it with dignity. I'm sad to see it go, but it would never be the same there again!!

txa1265 November 14th, 2006 02:52

Terminate it with extreme prejudi … um … dignity ;)

Cm November 14th, 2006 05:39

Ok, I will hold off for a few days. I will take one last look for anything to save. If anyone thinks of anything let me know. Give any others a chance to see this as well. :(

xSamhainx November 14th, 2006 05:49

I dont see the point in keeping myself the member of a forum which I dont visit anymore.

Cm November 14th, 2006 05:51

No but the NFG has always been run by discussion, so should her death.

Corwin November 14th, 2006 06:06

I'd like to see fun threads like the Daily Smile survive and some of Badgers stuff!!

Jaz November 14th, 2006 06:25

Close it. <_<

Maylander November 14th, 2006 09:20

I am a member, although I stopped visiting RPGDot quite a while ago, only posted there recently due to Gothic 3.

Danicek November 14th, 2006 10:57

Close it. Jaz has already removed me from Guardians and Mods groups over there and so I would vote for leaving NFG members group as well and closing is actually the best way I can think of…

Wulf November 14th, 2006 11:29

It's important that this new site runs on it's own steam and be self sufficient. Cut the umbilical cord of memories and let the now alien craft of the dot drift away into space. The world is young and we must go boldly forward….so hoist the mainsail, fasten down the hatches, face the storm and lash the pilot to the wheel, steer a course to the horizon and face whatever comes our way. :D

HiddenX November 14th, 2006 13:09

yeah - lets move on -

the NFG was fun - but it was the beginning of the long death of RPGdot, too.
All the best postings could only be read in the NFG - a relative small group of people.

I think we should not make the same mistake on this board, a small number
of public groups is enough. So we get, what we all like:
A living board with interesting and fun postings.

Very good point HiddenX, I believe we should follow your advice :].

Very well said - when we have the trafic problems of 1000's of posts per day perhaps we can revisit this …

Cm November 14th, 2006 20:49

Well, I will tell them to delete it soon. I will go ahead and maybe do a cut and paste on a few of the daily smiles and post them here over time. Giving credit to the one who first posted it. ;)

Alrik Fassbauer November 14th, 2006 21:05

What's NFG ?

Cm November 14th, 2006 21:12

On the other boards it was a usergroup called Nonflamers Guild, thus NFG. Sorry, I realize this didn't make sense to everyone, but it was a fast way to get feedback.

Alrik Fassbauer November 14th, 2006 22:20

Corwin November 15th, 2006 00:12
