The latest update at The Witcher
site is another in-character piece from Dandelion. This one describes the hero, Geralt
You see, somewhere in Geraltís training and mutation, something went wrong. Certainly the elder witchers, like Geraltís master, Vesemir, perceived some of the personality traits he retained as flaws. After all, what sort of ruthless killer could he be if his emotions are constantly there to cloud his judgment? He still does his best to be the heartless murderer the people expect him to be, however, for he has quite a reputation to uphold. You donít gain a nickname like the Butcher of Blaviken by planting daisies, after all.

Actually, his reputation as the butcher came from an unfortunate situation that only arose because of people's prejudice against witchers. If you ask me, what happened to those suckers was totally deserved, and, besides, geralt didn't even go against very important laws. He simply made a mess, where he could have simply gone away and let the village be ransacked…
