Infinity engine was and is still one the best engines. All it needed was to continue to progress i.e. higher resolution, better effects/sound, refined UI, better pathfinding etc.

Michael Cranford. While I am a big fan of Becky's work I would call it translating rather than re-writing for BT1&2. BT3 was the best anyway.

Can't wait to see how the remastered versions turn out.

I like the concept as well. It would be cool if politics played a party as well - disharmony within your empire. You could potentially have council members with competing objectives and loyalties.

Hmmm I would say neither adventure nor rpg. It's an action game with QTE's. It is more related to Dragon's Lair than Kings Quest in gameplay mechanics.

You haven't got a clue. I've finished probably a good 30+ games from the 80's in the last 2 years and I am certainly finishing both BT1 and 2. Probably not 3 as I have already finished it a few times.
