Edit: nevermind about the patch. I read that part wrong.

I have a bunch of saved games that I put online, mostly for this reason. They start right at the exit to the dungeon. They do a little better than the dungeon-be-gone mod because I get EVERYTHING…

Yeah, I'm with Turok. I'm sure there are fans here at RPGWatch that will buy it even if it takes another year for it to arrive. However, I'm kinda moving on. They've taken too long. I think in 2…

I'm sorry, but if it is not a Diablo 3 announcement, then they had NO business saying half the Web will link to them. There is no other reason half the Web would be interested in diablo3.com. Even…

Done it better? Hmmm. Well, I loved FATE. That did most things better. But D2 is still an ongoing multiplayer game for me & my 2 kids. We're only in the jungle now. We play maybe once or twice…

I wanted to post my agreement with DeepO. I find the BG1 storyline much more compelling because I find it to be much more real-world. I'll just wrap all the rest of my comment in spoiler tags.

They're not serving you well here, so stop it.

One of the things that NWN does to protect you (or maybe only NWN 2) is that it gives you max HP each level. BG 2 does not do that by default —…

Thanks for the correction. It appears that kundane also has this property. Oddly, my attacks go from 3 to 7/2 if they are equipped in the main hand, but to 4 if equipped in the off-hand. I guess…

I ended up giving Minsc Belm in his off-hand, and he's getting 2 attacks per round with it. He's getting 2 attacks with his primary hand, too. That's a total of 4, and I think I could have got it…

Holy crap! I was playing Minsc WAAAY wrong!

In Baldur's Gate 2, I used to play Minsc with a nice two-handed sword. Every now and then he'd crit for an absurd amount of damage, and I'd be happy. However, it always bugged me that his skill in…

Isn't that what is happening with AoD? The engine they're using isn't Open Source, but is cheap — something like $200 for the right to sell your game commercially. There are lots & lots of games…

QFT.

That's too bad. I actually felt that the BG1 & BG2 system of resurrection was pretty OK. It was too cheap at low levels, but then you could die in a single shot at low levels, so the poor…
