As a PC game I doubt that this enough of an improvement over BG TuTu to make it worthwhile.

The IPAD is another story. Any BG would shine compared to what is available.

I agree there was plenty of tension in XCOM. When you have used up your action points and you helplessly watch some alien pop out and decimate your squad. TB isometric done right can be very tense.

This is the best news I have had since the WL2 kickstarter. I loved the original DD and the only thing that would have made it better would have been TB combat.

Don't get me wrong I'm all in favor of finding a way to fund games between indie and AAA. If Fargo comes up with a good proposition I'll back it. But gritty and edgy are buzz words much overused…

I agree 100%. RPGs and their audience are a lot more diverse. Go to a forum for RPG fans and you're lucky if you can find 2 people who can even agree on the definition of an RPG.
