To me the sense of adventure in Dragon Age is destroyed by absurd invisible walls and people with arms like apes and some stupid moments, I also think the combat is quite lame, actually.

the fact is KotC's combat is better than many recent RPG with their boring RtwP combat, and better use of of ruleset while Dragon Age combat is like generic MMO, there is no contest.

The gameplay in Fallout 3 is mediocre at best, the shooting feel off and broken stealth mechanic, mods just make it a bit more tolerable.

Nothing new, Mass Effect 2 is a mediocre shooter with RPG elements and some interesting set pieces, who think combat in ME2 is good obviously never play better shooters in their lives.
