More proof that people buy these crap bundles just because they go on sale, not because they have any intention of ever playing them.

The Gothic series shouldn't even be mentioned in the company of those other classics. I don't know what logic you are trying to use by comparing Gothic to those other quality games of yesterday….

Let's all face the facts here. These Gothic games all suck and to buy the pack with the idea that you'll "one day get around to playing it" is simply a waste of money.

By 2014/2015 there will be RPGs that blow this game out of the water. In fact, there already are better options such as BG1 & 2 Enhanced on Steam.

The GoG ones NEVER go on sale. I've been watching them since GoG put them up on the site. I'll be picking up all 3 on Steam for $3.50 during the inevitable 75% off Holiday sale. Love these games!

By single player I think you mean offline mode. No, this game is online only. As for actual single player game play, well yes all ARPGs do this.

We already saw how much of a "value" BGEE was at $20. There was nothing "enhanced" about it. I can't believe people would so willingly fall into this trap for $25. Once again, you can get BG2 here…

While D3 has been talking about loot patches for what seems like forever…. Torchlight 2, Marvel Heroes and even the Grim Dawn Alpha have managed to get loot done correctly. No sale here.

Agreed. If I may, I'd go further and say they bought based on what was a proven game with D1 & D2. Everyone got blindsided with the abomination that was D3.
