Did you play the console port of Risen? It was pretty bad. I'm no graphics whore, but this is a visual medium after all, and the first port's visual handicaps really hurt the game. There's a…

Hmm… Well, I know about the lack of integrity you're talking about. I've seen that in a lot of places, including the one where I work now. I don't think that makes you a pessimist. I think that…

Nah, Bethesda doesn't do a very good job of storytelling either. I found the main character and story in Fallout 3 marginally better, but I didn't feel particularly interested or motivated in either…

Yeah, I know it bothers you a lot. I understand your objection to it, and I agree that it is sad to see a company (or a band, or an author) that once produced something great devolve into a drivel…

Oh, okay. Well, I sympathize with people who want to keep their company afloat and their people employed. If they want to make a reasonable profit along the way, that's fine with me, too. Otoh, it…

I agree with the writer. This was one of the several reasons I stopped playing New Vegas. Imo, Obsidian is good at writing dialog but not so good at creating a character or story I have any…

I played it on XBLA. It's okay, nothing to write home about. The turn-based combat gets pretty old. I played on the default setting, so maybe if you play on a higher difficulty, there is more…

2. Keeping the company…
