You seem almost determined NOT to like him, so I won't waste more time trying to give a different perspective.

I think the movie is way better than one might expect, but with your position I doubt you'd agree

The Hunger
The Lost Boys
Salem's Lot
Nosferatu
Dracula/Bram Stoker's Dracula remake
Some great ones there…

I'd place Interview above them all except Shadow of the Vampire and Nosferatu. I haven't seen The Hunger though.
