I didn't update it. I had steam in offline mode. Only ran the game through tesV.exe. But steam somehow managed to update it. Guess i'll have to re-install it now but steam will probably try to update it when i install it again.

Why would you have Steam on if you can't stand having Steam on enough to return the game? Your posts make no sense.
