God I hate this stupid shit. It just screws up game balance and you have people trying to get all the codes and items. They might even do what the Witcher 2 did and release a patch that gives you all the items eventually so you can steamroll through the game. On the bright side, maybe I won't pick up this game.

Why do you care what other people do?

The Mass Effect and the Witcher games are singleplayer games so what difference does it make to you?
