What JDR is saying is that the end result is good even if the motivations are exploitive.
I understand that. And my point is that help is help, even if it is in the helpers interest to offer help. And that's a good thing. In fact, I can't think of an example where helping others does not have some sort of self-serving motive. Money is just one of those motives.
