Because it is published by Bethesda, which don't have a very good track record in releasing games from other developers (including rogue warrior, rage, and hunted).

I am still hopefull for Dishonored because of the excellent brains behind the game design and world - but it is not an instant buy for me, it just looks familiar and done before for me.
