I really don't get the comparison to space rangers 2 or 4x games. This game is (imho) much closer to nethack or rogue; cept that the space environment doesn't even allow for interesting mazes. I mean it's ok for killing a few hours now and then but I really didn't find it that great. space rangers 2 I really liked ('cept for the rts portion).
