Yeah, I'm not going to convince Joxer there's anything good about it or if it even makes sense. Shatner's RL adrenaline junkie personality doesn't seem to mean squat.

I also notice he conveniently doesn't mention Karl Urban's version of "Bones". Where I can admit the meeting of the characters didn't make sense he can't admit to what an amazing performance Urban did and how more to the vision of the original character it was because DeForest Kelley was deliberately trying to play down his real life age.

Which got me thinking after - its not just a coincidal, Lost like "connections" event - Old Spock from the other dimension must have knew Kirk would be there. It was just logical.
