How far into the game will I have to go to get better pyromancy spells? I didn't plan on taking my Pyromancer much farther.
I think it will take a while before you can get to the sewers where the pyromancer is trapped. Once you free him you will find him near the bonefire where the big bird dropped you (sorry forgot the name of the place). You will then be able to upgrade your pyromancy by speaking to him.
