I did the same thing for awhile. Learn not to strive or clutch so stubbornly to your souls; it'll make your experience more relaxing and easy going. (I referred to it as the quasi-buddhist touch a couple of pages back…) Also, learn to laugh at your own deaths.
It certainly helped me.
