What I find most interesting about this update is the: W.A.S.T.E - Unity Crowdsourced Experiment. This seems to be a way of sourcing art and assets that could transform the ability to make games within a reasonable budget and short circuit the publishing problem. I think that Brian Fargo is doing a great job of pushing the bounds of what's possible and also establishing a cooperative approach to game development that is a model of how human interactions *should* work.
