We owe in unofficial patch community a ton for making this game playable. When it was first released, it was a bug ridden mess, but now it is running great even on a modern system. It would have been such a shame to see this gem fade into obscurity because of technical issues, when the core game is excellent.

This whole situation reminds me of Gothic 3. A good game (not as good as bloodlines or the first 2 gothics, but a solid open world RPG none the less) ruined by technical issues that the community saved.
