Today's been an interesting "opinion article" in the local newspaper :
This data collection, the commentator wrote, is going against the EU (and German) laws of individual "data protection" ("Datenschutz").
Since the data collection ignores the EU laws, it does so as if the EU laws didn't exist at all.
And THAT is THE fundamental breach into ANY state or country : The laws of the countries of the European Union (and, especially, Germany, since Germany appears to have been the "primary target" of it all - are pushed away as if they didn't exist at all.
No laws exist. No states do exist. No countries exist - in terms of legislative etc. .
The "data collectors" do as if nothing in fact existed. No laws of protection - which is the ultimate breach expressing : No laws exist whatsoever.
They collect anyway,
of *any* data protection laws.
It's all void by now. Why build a state on laws if these laws can be broken by any other country any other time ?
To say that this is a loss of respect towards the other countries - and towards individial persons especially, is an understatement.
But - the UNO and all of the other states just LIVED through respecting each other.
And each others' laws.
Without respect, there would be no reason left not to invate any other countey and claim its territory for one's own country.
And this has actually happened. A country virtually invaded another country - by declaring its peoples' laws as voind and collecting the data
In terms of Philosophy, this is a huge thing. The very fundament has been broken.
