Niche markets require a more dedicated base of customers. FPS games and sports games are not niche genres. Hey, whatever. Just remember that you had a hand in the next RPG draught.

@Zloth, they "evolved"? REALLY? The action RPG is not a "new idea". Publishers just wanted every game to be a Call of Duty, and the niche western RPG market wasn't going to provide anything like that. No, the RPG genre pretty much up and died. The only games left were single player action RPGs. The majority of the 2000's was a wasteland almost bereft of good RPGs.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
