I wonder if the article was written by the same person. It starts with claiming that TES is the thing as a single player experience to further list a cooperative mode as a demand.

The list fails to synthetize the game. It takes bits without looking at the big picture.

The next TES might introduce a survival mode but it will be on a very different mode than mods.

Playing Skyrim, it is clear that the developpers attempted to introduce scarcity generated by the NPC world consuming the environment, which would have created survival pressures in certain cases.

Mods at the moment introduce survival pressures in different ways.

And much more.

The article fails because it has no overall perspective.
